Change of Seasons

March 6-April 14                                                  

In our 18th Annual Change of Seasons exhibition, local artists will showcased in an amazing show of talent and craft. The exhibit always demonstrates a large range of mediums and thoughts and spans the work of Kindergarten students to adults.       

                                                                                                                         

Emerging Artists              

April 17-May 31

This year's Emerging Artists exhibit highlights the work of local artists Ron Fellin, Beth Pierson, and Chelsea Kirksey. 

Each artist will be presenting a body of work inspired and driven by texture. Come to experience the draw of this tactile exhibit. A public reception will be held on Thursday, April 19 from 5-7 pm.

                     

Wine and Water: Photography Exhibition              

June 2-June 23

The community has come together to share their memories of wine and/or water. All of the donated photographs will be on display at the Nuveen Center and for sale. Proceeds from the sales go to supporting ACWL - Nuveen programs. 

                                                                                 

On The Beach            

June 26-August 4                                  

Beaches are the staple of the White Lake area and we want to see your beach inspired art. This exhibit is open to all community members.

 

Artist in Residence

Sept. 11- Oct. 20               

A Michigan artist will be selected to work with the community through workshops, public lecture, and community art installation.

 

Fall Into the Arts: Art and Math                        

October 23- November 10                  

Our annual school exhibition is back. Students will submit their math inspired artwork. So break out the rulers and freshen up on your geometry. Embrace the colliding of two worlds in this exhibit.

2019 Exhibitions

Legacy

January 8-February 2                                                  

In Legacy, an exhibit featuring the work of Bill Randall and Roycine King we celebrate our local art elders. With a combined resume of over 50 years of producing art, each artist in this exhibit offers a unique perspective and handle on their craft.

Emerging Artists: 25 and Under

The voices of the future are on display at the Arts Council of White Lake - Nuveen Center in the newest exhibit, Emerging Artists: 25 and under. Three talented and emerging art professionals are showcasing their work.

 

Fall Into the Arts: Fall Harvest                  

October 15- November 9                  

Bring on all of our fall favorites in this year’s annual school exhibition. Local schools will feature the work of students around the theme of “fall harvest”. Come see talent from over fifty students in the White Lake and Muskegon area. We will be accepting donations to be given to each school’s art department.
